Leavenworth names the corridor neighborhood along Omaha's crosstown street as it runs from downtown's edge toward the Med Center — a working district of taquerias, longtime bars, and small businesses, with residential blocks of Victorians and brick flats stepping up the hills on either side. Columbus Park's green sits at its eastern end.

Apartments for rent along Leavenworth are among central Omaha's most attainable: units in vintage walk-ups, divided houses, and postwar courts, with newer student-oriented buildings rising toward UNMC's campus on the corridor's west end. The east–west bus line and the ten-minute reach to both downtown and the hospital give the rental market its steady floor.

Homes for sale on the residential side streets mix renovation-ready Victorians with updated foursquares and small multifamily buildings that attract house-hacking buyers — live in one unit, rent the rest. Pricing remains below the Midtown average, and the corridor's incremental commercial reinvestment has begun pulling residential comps up from both ends toward the middle.
