Eastwood fills the East Nashville blocks between Gallatin Pike and Porter Road, running east toward Riverside Village's pocket of restaurants — a neighborhood of 1920s–1940s Craftsman bungalows and brick Tudors on rectangular, sidewalk-lined streets. It sits one ring beyond Lockeland Springs, sharing its walkability while keeping slightly more yard and slightly less foot traffic.

Apartments for rent in Eastwood come from duplexes and owner-converted units within the housing stock, plus newer small-format buildings along Gallatin Pike, where transit and storefronts concentrate. The neighborhood's rental market is shallow but steady; tenants targeting Eastwood are usually graduating from apartments toward an eventual purchase nearby, and house rentals appear regularly.

Homes for sale are the neighborhood's draw: intact Craftsman and Tudor architecture at prices a notch below Lockeland Springs and East End, with renovation quality the main variable in the comps. Tall-skinny infill is present but less dominant than in neighborhoods closer to downtown, and corner stores converting to cafes keep adding small anchors that pull buyer attention block by block.
