Cool Springs is the commercial spine of Williamson County — the I-65 corridor between Moores Lane and McEwen Drive where the CoolSprings Galleria, corporate campuses for Nissan North America's neighbors, and the newer McEwen Northside mixed-use district concentrate more retail and office space than anywhere in Tennessee outside downtown Nashville. It straddles the Franklin–Brentwood line, about 20 minutes south of the city.

Apartments for rent in Cool Springs are largely garden-style and mid-rise communities built since the late 1990s, with newer luxury product around McEwen Northside adding elevator buildings, structured parking, and walkable dining. Renters here are usually trading Nashville proper for shorter Williamson County commutes, and rental pricing sits below comparable new construction in the Gulch or Midtown while delivering more square footage.

Homes for sale in Cool Springs proper lean townhome and condo, with established single-family subdivisions ringing the commercial core on both the Franklin and Brentwood sides. The buy-side market is driven by Williamson County's tax base and employer concentration; resale demand has stayed strong for two decades, and townhomes near McEwen's restaurant row move quickest.
