Bemis Park

Bemis Park is one of Omaha's designated landmark districts — a small enclave where Lincoln Boulevard curves through hills of substantial Victorians and foursquares built in the 1890s boom, just northwest of downtown off Cuming Street. The boulevard plan, an early example of landscape-led platting, gives the neighborhood a park-like spine that straight-grid districts can't match.

Homes for sale appear infrequently: the district is small, and its houses — many over 3,000 square feet — tend to hold owners for decades. When they list, pricing still runs below what equivalent architecture would command in Dundee or Field Club, a gap that reflects the neighborhood's quieter profile more than its quality.
